The theme for the house warming party was school disco. I went to look for an outfit and realised that school girl is actually code for slut in the fancy dress world.
I get a little bit grumpy about fancy dress "I'm 31, not 5, why can't I go as myself?", but once I start getting the outfit together I get into the swing of it.
Well I looked like a slut and not at all like I did at school, I donned a blonde wig too which I really liked.
Fancy dress is cool.
Being grumpy about it is not cool

Thanks for using the word cool and only being 31, I want to use it constantly and I'm older shall we say? LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyway great writing, keep it up and I'm following. Sorry about your grandpa and grandma, I was a late in life baby and lost both of mine (others were already gone)when I was in my early teens. Just be glad you got to know them as much as you did.
The last time I put on fancy dress I put a silver dodecahedron on my head, not quite sure what I was thinking broadly alien I think
